Movement Direction Jordan Nike for Editorial Footwear Campaign

For this Jordan x Nike campaign, Movement Direction Jordan Nike was developed by Marie Zechiel in collaboration with production company Spingun. The editorial campaign focused on the iconic Jordan sneaker, creating a clean and contemporary visual language that placed the product at the center of every image.
Working with three professional models, Marie developed a movement concept that balanced natural expression with strong editorial posing. Every gesture, posture, and transition was carefully directed to complement the camera while highlighting the shoes from every angle. Rather than relying on static poses, movement became an essential storytelling tool throughout the production.
A defining element of the campaign was the creative set design. Reflective surfaces, mirrors, and a transparent glass floor created striking visual compositions and unexpected perspectives. These elements required precise movement direction, as every position had to work simultaneously for the camera, the reflections, and the product itself. Marie guided the models through each setup, ensuring that movement remained fluid, confident, and visually refined.
Movement Direction Jordan Nike focused on creating elegant body language that enhanced the premium aesthetic of the campaign without distracting from the footwear. Small adjustments in posture, timing, weight shifts, and eye lines made a significant difference in how the shoes were presented on camera. Every movement was designed to support both the fashion imagery and the commercial purpose of the campaign.
Marie Zechiel is known for translating brand identities into authentic movement. Whether working with professional models, athletes, musicians, or actors, she develops an individual movement language that strengthens visual storytelling while maintaining each person’s unique character.
The Jordan x Nike campaign demonstrates how Movement Direction Jordan Nike can elevate an editorial fashion production. Through close collaboration with the creative team and production company Spingun, Marie created a sophisticated movement language that enhanced the visual impact of the campaign and emphasized the iconic design of the Jordan footwear collection.

As a movement director Marie Zechiel researches, develops and instructs sophisticated movement and body languages for a project aiming to create a suitable and unique physical narrative that raises production quality and authenticity.
In exchange with the director and team she proposes a motion vocabulary and choreography which fits best to the project’s vision, before she develops specific training methods and teaches all necessary skills to the performers (e.g. actors, singers, dancers, models, extras).
Especially on set with the production Marie Zechiel is a valuable motion supervisor to translate last-minute improvements as a movement director. Her skill-set includes underwater movement, cross-gendered movements and chorus work as well as doing choreographies in different dance styles.
Her field of work is specialised in camera productions such as commercials, music videos, photo shootings but also fashion shows and gallery spaces and the movement mentoring for artists. As a Choreographer and Movement Director Marie Zechiel has been involved in many music videos, commercial shoots and fashion shows. Clients include: VOGUE, Calvin Klein, Longines, Heidi Klum, Nina Chuba, Herbert Grönemeyer, Rolls Royce.
