THE ONLY WAY TO GO IS FORWARD
The Only Way to Go Is Forwar“ is a collaborative photo and video project that brings together the cutting-edge vision of Berlin-based fashion label UY Studios, the creative eye of photographer Michal Andrysiak, and the expertise of Movement Director Marie Zechiel. This project is a testament to the power of interdisciplinary collaboration, where fashion, movement, and visual art converge to create something truly unique. Marie Zechiel played a pivotal role in shaping the movement direction for this project. From the conceptual preparation phase, she was deeply involved in bringing the project’s vision to life. Marie s work began with understanding the creative goals of UY Studios and translating these into movement patterns and poses that would visually resonate with the brand’s aesthetic. Her ability to interpret the artistic direction and suggest dynamic, expressive movements helped to set the tone for the entire project. In addition to her role in movement direction, Marie also contributed to the casting process. She was instrumental in selecting models who not only fit the visual requirements but also possessed the physicality and presence needed to execute the complex movements and poses envisioned for the shoot. This careful selection process ensured that the final images and videos captured the desired energy and style. Throughout the shoot, Marie worked closely with creative director Idan Gilony to fine-tune the poses and movements, making sure that each shot captured the essence of the project. Her guidance on set was crucial in achieving the fluid, yet powerful visual narrative that defines The Only Way to Go Is Forward. Marie Zechiel s contribution to this project goes beyond traditional movement direction. Her involvement in the conceptual, preparatory, and casting stages underscores her holistic approach to creative collaboration. This project highlights Marie’s ability to seamlessly integrate movement into the world of fashion photography, creating a final product that is both visually stunning and deeply expressive.
