With our intellect we try to understand everything: the world around us, the other people and above all ourselves. However, can this succeed? In each of us there is a place whose core is hard for us to reach. Here slumbers a huge number of emotions: Joy, fear, love, aversion. Even if the intellect does not want it, the body might display them – the deep sea of the subconscious.
It not frequently happens that the body expresses something different from what the mind means to send. Often physical constitution and psyche can conflict with each other. Is the mind a part of the body or the bodie part of the mind? And how will their interaction work if they contradict? Who will be the leader? The body or the mind?
With „Tiefsee“ Clébio Oliveira examines together with his dancers and in the face of these questions the physical and mental experience of emotional dependence.
The dancers enter a dark, cold, toneless space. It is inhabited by unknown, frightening beings. Be invited to make together with the team a dive and pay a visit to the local monsters. What will happen if bodies and mind experience emotional dependence? What are the signs of the body? What happens on the way from the brain to the muscles? We shout into the silence and hope for response. We gasp for breath. We freeze.

Dancers: Marie Zechiel, Sergio Verano, Michela Rossi, Valentina Migliorati

She makes fun of life, where everything is illusion, bringing chaos, storms and freedom, no longer afraid of living and taking chances. Iconoclast and sophisticated she freed herself from the past, like an old woman masked as an infant. There are pictures without sound that become strong and positively deafening through body astraction. A vertical line that clarifies a thousand questions with no answer about the immaterial side of life.
