Jeannel – BLUE
BLUE Jeannel
The official music video for BLUE by singer Jeannel is a visually stunning and emotionally charged piece of work. Directed by Lauren Pringle, the video captures an intimate journey that delves deep into the heart of human emotions. For this project, Movement Director Marie Zechiel played a crucial role, working closely with Jeannel and cast member Kelvin Kelonzo to bring authenticity and depth to their performances. The focus of this project was to unlock and express true and deep emotions, creating a connection that resonates with viewers. Jeannel, although a talented singer, lacked experience in acting. This made Zechiels role as a Movement Coach particularly important. She guided Jeannel through the process, helping her to explore and convey the raw emotions needed for the video. Zechiels approach was gentle yet precise, ensuring that every movement and gesture reflected the vulnerability and intensity of the song. Marie Zechiels contribution extended beyond movement coaching. She also served as the Intimacy Director for the production, a role that was essential given the personal nature of the project. Her expertise in this area helped create a safe and comfortable environment on set, allowing the artists to fully immerse themselves in their roles. Zechiel ensured that the intimate scenes were handled with care, respecting the boundaries of the performers while still achieving the desired emotional impact. Working with Jeannel and Kelvin Kelonzo, Zechiel was instrumental in bringing the director’s vision to life. Her guidance helped the artists reach new levels of emotional expression, resulting in a music video that is both powerful and moving. „BLUE“ is not just a visual experience; it is a journey into the depths of human emotion, made possible by the skilled direction of Marie Zechiel.
